I love all Ali Parkers books. This one was sweet. Moved a little slow at times but I still loved it and enjoyed it. It lacked a spark that I’m used to from her writings but I wasn’t disappointed. I just felt we were floating along in the story in a slow and steady pace to get to the end. I wanted to see what happened but could put the book down any time. It was still a nice love story between Terran and Hailey. He needed to grow up a bit and at times, she seemed too good to be true.

Not all is what it seems. Tarren and Hailey are both prominent people in their own right. Tarren needed to grow up a wee bit. Hailey is portrayed as mild mannered, sweet, kind, and it seemed the two fell for each other a wee bit too easily. It wasn't all smooth sailing! I did appreciate Ms. Parker's input on foster care and orphans. People donate to charities, yet most of each dollar never gets to the actual cause. I liked Hailey's way of doing her part. Overall quality of writing was good, proofreading had a few glitches, no cheating or cliffhanger and you get a happy ending. Enjoy

This book was so frustrating that I had to put it down and read something else before I picked it back up to finish it. The first half of this book was awful to me. The back and forth between the two guys was really killing me. Terran was happy when was with Hailey but when he got around his best friend he acted as if he wasn't the one spending time with Hailey. The book did finish strong. The story could have been told in half of the chapters.

Absolutely loved it!!!! Ali does a great job and the characters go very well together. She’s a model he’s a ceo what foe they have in common, they are both orphans so to speak.
She’s sweet, nice, kind, beautiful and she’s got a heart of gold. At least that’s what he thought when he was getting to know her. Now he’s not so sure.
He’s a playboy and has dated just about all the beautiful models out there... or st least that’s what the tabloids say. Is he really as different as she thinks?
A great first book in a series that ends with a cliffhanger.

I wanted to like this book, even though it's a trilogy, but I usually like the author so I decided to give it a try. It was okay for a short and sweet read, however, it wasn't enough for me to continue the series. What I did not like about the book was 1. The H was looking originally for a woman that he would pay then gets mad when he assumes she's with him for his money 😒 2. He never tells her what's going on with his inheritance 3. The h's best friend is constantly warning her away, literally every time 3. A trilogy!! For what!? There's no drama, no heat, no conflict, nopidio (no point in dragging it out), just a smidge of 'will he' for the cliffhanger

Terran exhibits a lot of shallow tendencies with his best bud, Zach, which caused his extremely wealthy father to stipulate in his will that he must be married or engaged by his 35th birthday. What intrigued me about his character; however, is that despite his playboy lifestyle, he had successfully built up his own thriving business with a capital start up by his father and his concern for the future of his employees under the full conditions of his father's will. Zach encourages Terran to enter into a fake engagement to satisfy the conditions of the will. Hailey is a top model for one of his advertising contracts who is insecure about her future as she's nearing "retirement" age. When the two meet, there's an instant attraction by both parties and Terran decides she might just be the candidate he needs to ensure his inheritance and future livelihood. I received book 1 free from Prolific Works, but got caught up in the story and decided to purchase Books 2 and 3.

Loved Terran and Hailey. Loved Mandy and the orphanage. Would like to think that maybe Terran and Hailey could eventually adopt Melissa seeing how Hailey loved her.
I'm so glad that they both persevered in pursuit of each other and that the money situation didn't get too ugly and they got their HEA.

A nice story by Ali. This story is about Terran and Hailey. Terran is the CEO of an ad agency who’s billionaire father left specific details Terran needs to fulfill in order to receive his inheritance. Hailey is the model he meets and although he intends to ask her to be his fake wife finds himself smitten immediately. I enjoyed the story but I felt pulled out of it at times - this story needs beta reading - I also agree with another reviewer - the changing of tenses within the same sentences were distracting and not all of the background stories matched but putting that aside, the read was entertaining and enjoyable. I voluntarily received an arc copy of this book and purchased a copy as well
